Nick Cannon to Host New Daytime Talk Show: “I Feel Upbeat”
LOS ANGELES – Nick Cannon has had a long career – from acting to production to stand-up comedy – but now he’ll be adding a new title to his hat: Daytime Talk Show Host.
The new national talk show “Nick Cannon”, which premieres Monday, September 27, will be an hour of comedy-focused entertainment and is expected to feature the best of pop culture, celebrity interviews and musical performances.
“It’s going to be good. I’m a showman at heart,” Cannon told reporters in a webinar. “I feel good, I feel dynamic, I feel optimistic.”

During the show‘s first week, Nick will be joined by his family from “The Masked Singer”: panelists Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke.
Other guests, including Simon Cowell and Kevin Hart, will be making appearances.
“I’ve done a lot of things in the TV space, but one thing I think I’ve never had the chance to do is let people really know me, and that’s that intimate connection.” , Cannon explained.
With a family to raise and various TV shows to host, including “Wild ‘N Out”, the 40-year-old said all of his family “are doing extraordinarily well.”
âI always say my calling is my vacation,â he said of his work-life balance. âI never feel like it’s work. But when I have a spare moment, all of that focus goes to my kids. It’s an even more creative space because I learn from them daily. . “

Cannon also said the show will provide an opportunity to reunite with former castmates and reunite on projects such as the Nickelodeon TV show “All That” and the film “Drumline” which is approaching its 20th anniversary. .
âIf you’re having fun, then your audience is having fun, and at this point in my life, I’m not doing anything unless I can have fun doing it,â Cannon explained. “My goal is to make people smile.”

âIt’s bigger, better and more fabulous than ever,â Cannon told FOX TV on Friday. “The costumes are on a next level, and the people under the costumes are the biggest stars we’ve ever had.”
In addition to the incredible costumes and talent, the Jokers are also back on “The Masked Singer” stage. Each group will feature several wildcard celebrities competing for a chance to win the coveted Golden Mask Trophy.

The host also revealed that the season will feature âDiva Battlesâ.
“There’s going to be some diva fights. I’ll just give this to you,” Cannon teased shyly. “It’s the only thing I can reveal.”
