Jessica Simpson throws back her Daisy Duke shorts to show off her toned legs for a new fashion collection inspired by her love of roller skating

Jessica Simpson has taken up roller skating because it makes her feel young and allows her to exercise in a fun way, she said in a recent interview.

And that’s why her new campaign for her fall fashion collection is themed around roller skating.

On Thursday, the 42-year-old blonde beauty starred in the new shoot where she wore short Daisy Duke denim shorts – which she wore beautifully in her 2005 film The Dukes Of Hazzard – with an orange paisley blouse.

Roll with it: Jessica Simpson has taken up roller skating because it makes her feel young and allows her to exercise in a fun way. And that’s why her new campaign for her fall fashion collection is themed around rollerskating.

Catherine Bach made short films famous when she played Daisy Duke in the television series Dukes Of Hazzard which aired from 1979 to 1985.

That’s why the short shorts are still called Daisy Dukes to this day.

Simpson modeled the look beautifully.

Jessica’s roller skates were a shimmery hot pink and also a dark green color. The star was leaning on a vintage white car as she raised an arm in delight.

“Don’t be a Hater, be a Roller Skater,” she said in her caption.

The star worked hard to grow his business after taking it over, which left him with little money in the bank.

In April, she said she was ‘on a budget’ after her credit card was declined.

The pop star had tried to make a purchase at fast food chain Taco Bell but was unsuccessful and is now using cash as she joked that she now had to budget while waiting for a new map.

She said: ‘I don’t have a working credit card. Its good. I will pay cash. I went to Taco Bell the other day, and my card was declined. I’m on a budget, ladies!

The I Wanna Love You Forever hitmaker went on to explain that there’s a “fear” attached to money but “believe in it” when it comes to business decisions.

Speaking on daytime talk show The Real, she said: “With money, there’s so much fear attached to it.” I’m the person you get mad at at the blackjack table. I’ll say it all if I’m running the show because I believe in myself and I know what I can do. And I know that nothing will stop me, and if you try to stop me, I will try harder.

It comes just days after the star announced she would be expanding her eponymous fashion label – the Jessica Simpson Collection – to feature menswear for the first time and wants her husband to be a role model for her.

She said, “We’re going into boys and menswear, which I’ve always wanted to do, because I know what a guy’s butt should look like in their jeans. My husband is a good role model for that, but he would never do it. I might be able to convince him
